Enable the user to select Zoom player as the default media player. After installing Zoom player I went to play a movie and it selected the windows media player.

At least include simple instructions (especially for novice users) on how to change settings in windows so that Zoom player is the default player.

Improve it. It should have better codecs to play videos better. I have the same problem with VLC, but it is better. You should improve on message of damaged media.

My favourite is Realplayer. And it can not even compete with free GOM or Quicktime. What I mean by damaged media is that Realplayer plays every type of media, whereas GOM looks for new codecs, saving disk space by installing only neccesary ones....

old school

I would like to see a "word" menu across the top (I know it is old school - but it is where I have found everything before) - the "word" menu can be just as easily hidden as a bunch of icons (but at 60 - eyes going- and speed "not" an issue now -...

Live/animated (3D) backgrounds and skins, transparentie (settings) too. Put a link ad the menu for downloading a little free program to do so and a link to upload it to your website.

All the stuff for submenu windows too, submenu windows separated adjustable from main window and buttons.

Allow horizontal and/or vertical stretching like the numpad commands in media player classic, to make 2.4:1 widescreen fit 16:9.

Media player classic allows you to stretch the picture any which way you want so any siz picture will fit your screen, even if it has black bars on all sides.
